Since Brevin was a baby, he had a best friend! His friend is green and carries his home on his back! His best friend is Vern the turtle! Vern has been everywhere with Brevin...softball tournaments, grandpa and grandma's house, naptimes, and roadtrips. Vern was even left at my cousin's house and they knew Brevin would miss him and so they were willing to ship Vern to Brevin! Brevin however survived the separation quite well. Vern allowed Brevin to bite his nose and loved receiving lots and lots of hugs! Best Friends are hard to come by and Brevin is lucky to always have his. Last year, Brevin has been discovering his other toys and Vern was placed in a special spot for a rest. Tonight, however Brevin found Vern and gave him a great big hug and invited him to watch a movie with him! Ahhhh...the love of Best Friends!

Ohhh Vern! He has been missing, hasn't he? I loved the pictures of Brevin as a baby! Where does the time go? Definately time to have a 2nd baby Stoa. Hayden actually said, "Play with Brevin and his sister?" yesterday. Prophetic, maybe???
