Batter Up!

Hi y'all! I thought I would try this whole blogging thing, after my best friend introduced me to it. I'm not sure how I will be at keeping up the site, but knowing me and my love of sharing pictures, I'm sure I will be addicted in no time!

Well, I'm on Christmas break and I am enjoying it! My son is almost 3 years old, but since I'm not ready for him to turn 3, I am going to say he is 2 and 1/2 years old. Brev is an active little boy who enjoys Thomas the Train, Lightening McQueen, and running wherever he goes. He is certainly keepin me young...well at least in my eyes!

Since my son is almost three, I decided that we need to tackle the potty training. I'm not sure if Brev is on the same page as I am, but he's learning to be an exceptional negotiator. "Mommy, if I go potty can I have 5 m&m's,"says Brev. Sure enough we negotiate the deal and one minute of sitting on the potty chair...he goes pee! Earlier in the day, no success, obviously because I didn't offer him what he wanted. Who knew?

My husband is a basketball coach and since it is baskeball season and there is no Christmas break for the sport, Brev and I are traveling to the Minneapolis area on New Year's Eve to attend another High School basketball game! Don't get me wrong, we are very supportive of my husband, but i'm not the biggest sport fan! Since we will be around the Minneapolis area for New Year's Eve, Brev, my husband, I will be celebrating at a water park. My first thought for the evening at the water park, this should bring some adorable photo ops! I know it's sad...but sometimes I do create moments just for the photo ops.
