Because we travel to the Fargo-Moorhead area for Christmas, we always try to plan our own little Christmas. This year we had a nice relaxing day. Brevin had a program practice in the morning and then took an afternoon nap, while I prepared the dinner and the gifts.
After he awoke, he discovered that Santa found our house early this year
and he waited as patiently as he could for his gifts.

Before we open our gifts, Daddy and Brevin read the Christmas story.
We chose to read it from Brevin's little children's bible.
He likes to look at the pictures to learn about the Jesus' birth.
Brevin wonders why he is such a loved little boy!
